What Is the
Canadian Dental Care Plan?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal government initiative that provides dental coverage to uninsured Canadians with an adjusted net family income below $90,000 per year.
Administered by Sun Life Financial, the plan helps millions of Canadians access preventive, restorative, and diagnostic dental care that might otherwise be out of reach.
Am I Eligible?
You may qualify for the CDCP if all of the following apply:
- You are a Canadian resident with a valid health card
- You filed a tax return the previous year
- You have no dental insurance (employer, private, or government)
- Your adjusted net family income is under $90,000 per year
Final eligibility is determined by the federal government. Apply at canada.ca/dental or call 1-833-537-4342.
Understanding
